Empowering Women, One Step at a Time

Operating period November 1 until March 31 from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., in response to extreme winter weather conditions, this space allows women to warm up and help reduce the risk of cold-related emergencies. 

For Youth, Women and Families. (males 16-17 years old, women 16 years and up, and families) 

Emergency shelter services; intakes, referrals (housing, mental health & addictions), and necessities.

 Provide 3 meals/day and a snack (designated mealtimes) according to the Canada Food Guide 

Supporting individuals to secure and maintain permanent housing, job searching, and assistance with working towards their education through case management.

Located at 235 Wellington St. W, with 16-hours of on-site support from Lotus House and partnering agency Phoenix Rising, with the goal of transitioning individuals from shelter to community.
